The Brighton Life Saving Club patrols the coast line between Green Point and the Brighton Yacht Club and Brighton Pier.
The clubs primary focus on a patrol day is ensuring the safety of the swimmer between the flags. Flags are usually set up in front of one of Melbourne most well know landmarks - the Brighton Beach boxes.
Members of the BLSC Patrol often also are called upon to assist kite surfers, wind surfers and other small vessels in distress.
BLSC prides its self on the quality of its Inflatable Rescue Boats operators and crews. This provides BLSC with the capability to provide assistance to both swimmers and vessels in distress in almost all weather conditions.
